Waterways Ireland Sponsorship Programme 2006

Waterways Ireland may, at its discretion and depending on the availability of funds, provide sponsorship to groups, associations, clubs or other appropriate bodies to assist with the organisation or promotion of Events which enhance the use of the waterways principally for recreational purposes.

Sponsorship may include funding and/or other support, for example:

• Promotion of the Event in Waterways Ireland publications and on the Waterways Ireland website;
  
• Public Relations support (Press Releases, Press Familiarisation Visits);
  
• Merchandise (Caps, Keyrings, Pens, Publications);
  
• Branding Materials (Bunting, Banners, Flags, Pennants).

The Sponsorship Programme can not be used to fund or contribute towards capital projects such as acquiring or developing new or existing buildings, infrastructure development or acquiring/maintaining equipment.

Closing date for receipt of completed application forms for the Waterways Ireland Sponsorship Programme 2006 is 01 February 2006.
